About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store to assist with health and wellness services while gaining real-world training that complements your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage patient consent and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain strict customer confidentiality.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of community pharmacists.
- Develop your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Improve your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Gain the skills needed to manage a retail pharmacy environment.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a pharmacy student.
- You want to provide a great experience for pharmacy customers.

- Location: 2900 Warden Ave, Scarborough, Ontario.
- Role type: Part-time, on-site.
- Pay range: $22.00 to $28.75 per hour.
