About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner, gaining exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy while developing your skills in patient care and drug therapy management.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality, consent, and privacy requirements.
- Maintain a clear and professional presence for the public.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to support health and wellness.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Build your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, and patient counseling.
- Learn the operational skills needed to manage a retail pharmacy.
