About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned store while gaining exposure to the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. This role is designed to enhance your academic training through real world application.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations and support community health services.
- Handle customer confidentiality and consent management to meet all privacy requirements.
- Build your knowledge of drug therapy, disease state management, OTC products, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a pharmacy program.
- Ability to work effectively in a retail pharmacy environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare workers.
