Pharmacy Intern, Hourly Part Time Evening

About the role#

This is a part-time, hourly pharmacy internship based in a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner, gaining practical experience in pharmacy operations while supporting health, beauty, and convenience services for the local community.

What you'll do#

• Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy counter.
• Maintain strict customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
• Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
• Develop skills in patient communication and professional interaction with healthcare workers.
• Build knowledge regarding OTC products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
• Learn the operational requirements necessary to manage a retail pharmacy.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a relevant field such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Health Administration, or Business Administration.
• A passion for providing an exceptional customer experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with a focus on customer confidentiality.
