About the role#
This is a full-time, hourly Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned and operated Shoppers Drug Mart. The role provides practical experience in a community pharmacy setting, focusing on clinical skills and retail pharmacy management to support future pharmacists.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements, including customer confidentiality and consent management, are met.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a relevant field of study, such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- Knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) products and drug therapy.
- Understanding of disease state management.
- Patient counseling and strong communication skills.

- Pay: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour.
