About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will work under a local Associate-Owner to gain real-world training that complements your academic studies. The role focuses on preparing you for a career in community pharmacy by teaching you the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy environment.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers as they arrive at the pharmacy.
- Protect customer privacy by maintaining confidentiality and managing consent forms.
- Ensure you are clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Provide a positive experience for all pharmacy customers.
- Learn about the expanding responsibilities of community pharmacists.
- Gain knowledge in OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy program.
- A genuine interest in community pharmacy practice.

- This is a full-time, paid internship located in Winkler, Manitoba.
- The role is on-site with a rolling start date.
- You will work flexible shifts.
