About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic training and provide insight into the expanding roles of a community pharmacist. You will work for a local business owner with the support of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage a retail pharmacy environment.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including consent management and customer confidentiality.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Develop skills in patient communication, disease state management, and drug therapy counseling.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a student working toward becoming a pharmacist.
- You enjoy providing a positive experience for pharmacy customers.
