About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position at a Shoppers Drug Mart location in Burlington. You will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience and learn about the roles of a community pharmacist. This role offers real-world training to complement your academic studies.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Provide an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
- Participate in hands-on training to build your skills in patient counseling, drug therapy, and disease state management.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently enrolled in a pharmacy studies program.
