About the role#
This is a full-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Winnipeg. The role provides practical experience in a community pharmacy setting to supplement your academic studies. You will work under an Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about the expanding role of the community pharmacist.
- Develop skills in patient communication, over-the-counter product knowledge, and drug therapy management.
