About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This role provides practical training in a community pharmacy setting to help you prepare for a career as a pharmacist. You will gain experience in retail pharmacy management, patient counseling, and drug therapy.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to meet all privacy requirements.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn about over-the-counter products, disease state management, and communication with patients and healthcare workers.

- Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences program.
