About the role#
This Pharmacy Intern position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment to gain real-world training that complements your academic studies. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent according to privacy requirements.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Learn about the expanding roles of a community pharmacist.
- Improve your communication skills with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Build knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Develop the skills needed to manage a retail pharmacy.
What you'll need#
- You are a future pharmacist currently pursuing studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- You enjoy providing an exceptional shopping experience for pharmacy customers.
