About the role#
This internship provides practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment designed to enhance your academic training and prepare you for a career in pharmacy. Each store is locally owned and operated, allowing you to work for a local business owner while utilizing the support of a national brand.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including maintaining customer confidentiality and managing consent.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Participate in the practice of pharmacy, including patient counseling.
- Manage over-the-counter products, drug therapy, and disease state management.
