About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Black Diamond, Alberta. You will gain practical, real-world experience in a community pharmacy setting to complement your academic studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences. You will work under an Associate-Owner while gaining exposure to pharmacy operations, patient communication, and disease state management.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and consent to ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
- Learn to manage retail pharmacy operations and expand your knowledge of over-the-counter products and drug therapy.

- Compensation: $23.20 - $30.25 per hour, based on experience and knowledge.
