About the role#
This is a part-time Pharmacy Intern position at a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart in Mississauga. You will work in a community pharmacy setting to gain practical experience that builds on your academic studies. The role focuses on patient interaction and the daily operations of a retail pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Greet customers who approach the pharmacy area.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and manage consent processes.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met during interactions.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Engage in community pharmacy practice to support patient health.
- Apply your knowledge of over-the-counter products.
- Assist with disease state management and drug therapy tasks.
- Provide counseling to patients.

- You must be currently pursuing a pharmacy degree.
