About the role#
This position offers practical experience for future pharmacists within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a retail environment while gaining real world training to supplement your academic studies. This role provides exposure to the expanding responsibilities of a community pharmacist and prepares you for success in the field.
What you'll do#
- Greet and acknowledge all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage retail pharmacy operations while maintaining customer confidentiality.
- Ensure all privacy requirements and consent management protocols are met.
- Develop your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, staff, and other health care workers.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a pharmacy degree program or equivalent training for future pharmacists.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Part-time, paid.
- Pay Range: $23.20 to $30.25 per hour.
