About the role#
This position offers practical experience for pharmacy students or professionals within a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store to support health and wellness services while learning about the evolving role of the community pharmacist. The role involves direct customer interaction and exposure to pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Acknowledge every customer who approaches the pharmacy.
- Manage customer consent and maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met during interactions.
- Remain clearly identifiable to the public while on duty.
- Participate in the day-to-day management of retail pharmacy operations.
- Develop skills in patient communication, disease state management, and drug therapy.
