About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Intern to join our team in Thornhill. This role provides practical, real-world training in a community pharmacy setting. You will gain experience in the expanding roles of a pharmacist while working directly with patients and healthcare staff.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers who approach the pharmacy.
- Manage customer confidentiality and ensure all privacy requirements are met.
- Provide health, beauty, and convenience services to the community.
- Engage in disease state management and drug therapy support.
- Practice patient counseling skills and build your knowledge of over-the-counter products.
- Maintain a professional appearance so you are clearly identifiable to the public.
