About the role#
This position offers pharmacy students hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work in a locally owned store while learning the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. The role is designed to help you build practical skills and prepare for a career as a community pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Welcome customers as they enter the pharmacy.
- Ensure all privacy and consent requirements are met for every customer.
- Maintain a professional presence so you are easily recognizable to the public.
- Manage retail pharmacy tasks.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients and health professionals.
- Develop your knowledge of over-the-counter products, disease management, and medication treatments.
