This position offers pharmacy students hands-on experience in a community retail setting. You will work in a locally owned Shoppers Drug Mart store, gaining practical knowledge to prepare for a future career as a pharmacist. The role involves direct patient interaction and daily pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Greet all customers as they enter the pharmacy.
- Manage pharmacy operations and ensure the store runs smoothly.
- Advise patients on over-the-counter products, disease management, and medication treatments.
- Maintain client confidentiality and manage consent processes.
- Ensure all privacy requirements are met at all times.
- Remain easily recognizable to the public while on duty.
