Product Intern

About the role#

Sezzle is seeking a Product Intern to join the Payments & Fees team. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and business, working closely with payment processors, providers, and internal teams. You will gain hands-on experience in product management by supporting the product manager in a high-throughput environment, contributing to technical and business-focused projects.

What you'll do#

• Draft, organize, and track tickets for changes and improvements to the payments service to ensure the backlog remains prioritized.
• Gather background context and summarize key information to prepare materials for provider meetings.
• Learn and apply SQL to query payment data, support the creation and maintenance of dashboards, and flag anomalies in payment flows.
• Maintain internal documentation for payment flows, fee structures, and operational processes.
• Participate in agile meetings and collaborate with cross-functional partners, including engineering, operations, and compliance teams.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• A 4.2 GPA or higher is required for consideration.
• A genuine interest in payments, fintech, and complex financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and a logical mindset for problem-solving.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
