About the role#
This full-time Audit Intern position provides a comprehensive look at the daily functions of our Audit Department. You will gain insight into franchise operations, royalty reporting, and the audit process. Working alongside experienced Franchise Auditors, you will receive mentorship and guidance to support your professional growth. This internship runs from May 24 through July 31, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform preliminary reviews of audit materials and documentation submitted by Franchise owners.
- Prepare preliminary summaries of audit findings for the audit staff.
- Assist with department projects, initiatives, and special assignments.
- Shadow experienced employees to learn business operations.
- Attend team meetings, department events, and scheduled intern activities.
- Support process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status enrolled in a college undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at our corporate headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee.
- The position is paid at $20.00 per hour.
