About the role#
This full-time summer internship offers hands-on experience within the corporate accounting department at SERVPRO headquarters. You will work alongside finance professionals to build a foundational understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial reporting. The role is designed to develop your technical and analytical skills through exposure to daily operations and strategic business projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports and schedules.
- Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance.
- Help with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management tasks.
- Participate in special projects focused on data analysis and process improvements.
- Research accounting issues and document current procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial business drivers.
- Gain experience with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior or Senior status in a college undergraduate program.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn.

- Term: Summer 2027 (May 24 through July 31).

- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
