About the role#
The Finance Intern - Analyst role at Busch Gardens Tampa supports the Business Analysis department. This position focuses on producing financial reports and assisting with analytical projects for various levels of management. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
What you'll do#
- Produce and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Assist in developing automated reports and templates.
- Conduct variance research and perform strategic analysis of business opportunities.
- Gather data and review specific park operations.
- Balance multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Communicate professionally with Ambassadors, vendors, and guests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with a major in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, countifs, sorting, filtering, charts, and graphs.
- Beginner analytical and presentation skills.
- A general understanding of financial statements.
- Ability to work on-site, handle interruptions, and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- SAP experience and prior experience in the theme park or hospitality industry are preferred.
