About the role#
This is a paid, full-time co-op position for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Troy, Michigan, gaining practical experience in manufacturing and technology development. The program focuses on building your industry knowledge through hands-on training and collaboration with professional engineering teams.
What you'll do#
- Integrate electrical systems into mechatronics components, including sizing e-motors and creating wire harnesses.
- Perform circuit design, analysis, and testing, including PCBA prototyping and analog filtering.
- Conduct market research on electrical products and document your findings.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects.
- Participate in job rotations and technical training to develop your engineering skills.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA per semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to sit at a workstation for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
