About the role#
Lake Country Co-op is hiring two part-time Student Grocery Clerks for our Food Store in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. You will report to the Grocery Team Leader and support our daily operations by serving guests and maintaining our store standards.
What you'll do#
- Serve guests, stock products, face shelves, and retrieve carts.
- Keep the department clean by tidying displays, shelves, and bins.
- Handle spills and breakages while keeping aisles clear of debris.
- Monitor product code dates and follow first in, first out (FIFO) practices to ensure freshness.
- Support the company vision, mission, and safety principles.
- Provide service to guests through various communication channels.
- Stay alert to prevent the unauthorized removal of merchandise.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- You are honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and take pride in your work.
- You are motivated and capable of assisting customers in a courteous, efficient manner.
- You can work well with minimal supervision and stay organized.
- You are able to meet physical requirements, including standing, walking, kneeling, and lifting 25-50lbs.
- You are comfortable working in a guest-facing environment.
- You have familiarity with Food Safe procedures.
- You possess a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
