About the role#
This internship is part of the Future Pathways program, which is hosted in partnership with the Ada Developers Academy. You will join a Salesforce engineering team for a 5-month term. Throughout the program, you will work alongside full-time engineers and receive mentorship and professional development support.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to software engineering projects on a product team by building and testing features in a production environment.
- Collaborate with your manager, technical mentor, and teammates through daily standups, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Participate in the Future Pathways professional development program, including biweekly development sessions, small group meetings, and industry mentor check-ins.
- Present the impact of your work to Salesforce stakeholders at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Completion of or current enrollment in the Ada Developers Academy software development curriculum.
- Foundational experience writing code in Python.
- Comfort working in a collaborative, team-based development environment.
- A commitment to the full 5-month internship duration.
- Eagerness to learn and ask questions.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship requiring approximately 35 hours per week.
- You must be able to work on-site at least 1 day per week.
- Locations include San Francisco, California, and Seattle, Washington.
- This role is open exclusively to candidates referred through the Ada Developers Academy internship program.
