About the role#
Silimate is hiring software interns to build and ship AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows for chip design. This is an on-site, full-time internship based in Mountain View, California. The role is available on a rolling basis and may transition into a full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship critical EDA software using Python and C++ for enterprise clients and chip companies.
- Serve as a liaison with tooling partners.
- Collaborate directly with the founders on key engineering design decisions.
What you'll need#
- Availability for 15 to 40 hours per week in-person at the Mountain View office.
- Proficiency in writing and shipping high-quality Python and C++ code quickly.
- Basic VLSI experience gained through coursework or projects.
- An adaptive, data-driven mindset with a focus on first principles.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.

- Compensation: $5,200 to $7,000 per month.
