About the role#
Silimate is hiring software interns to build and ship AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows for chip design. This role involves working directly with the founders on engineering design decisions and contributing to the growth of the company. This position is based in the Mountain View office and can be structured as part-time or full-time.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship AI tooling and agents using Python and C++.
- Serve as a liaison with tooling partners.
- Collaborate directly with the founders on engineering design decisions.
What you'll need#
- Availability for 15-40 hours per week in-person in Mountain View, California.
- Proficiency in writing and shipping high-quality Python and C++ code quickly.
- Basic VLSI experience gained through coursework or projects.
- An adaptive, data-driven approach based on first principles.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
