About the role#
Silimate is seeking an Applied AI Intern to contribute to the development of AI-native tools and agent-driven workflows for chip design. This is an on-site, paid internship based in Mountain View, California. The role is available immediately on a rolling basis and may transition into a full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship AI tooling and agents using Python and C++.
- Act as a liaison with tooling partners.
- Collaborate directly with the founders on engineering design decisions.
What you'll need#
- Availability for 15 to 40 hours per week in-person at the Mountain View office.
- Proficiency in writing and shipping high-quality Python and C++ code quickly.
- Basic experience with VLSI, whether through coursework or projects.
- An adaptive, data-driven mindset and the ability to work from first principles.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
