About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will spend 12 weeks working on production-scale projects. You will receive mentorship while solving technical challenges in areas like distributed systems, 3D co-experience, and data processing. You will work alongside cross-functional teams including Design, Product, Data, QA, and DevOps.
What you'll do#
- Join a community of engineers and deliver live production projects.
- Investigate and experiment with technologies like machine learning frameworks and large language models.
- Own a project from coding and testing through to deployment.
- Present your work to peers and company leaders.
- Participate in a team matching process to find a fit within groups like Infrastructure, Engine, Search and Discovery, Foundational AI, or Economy.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Node.js, Ruby, Python, C++, Lua, Swift, C#, or Java.
- A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and accept feedback.

- Location: San Mateo, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday required).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
