About the role#
Saint Luke's is hiring a Nursing Intern for the Medical Float Pool. This is a part-time, PRN position requiring a minimum of one shift per six-week schedule. This role is intended for nursing students who have a graduation date in 2027 or 2028.
What you'll do#
- Perform clinical procedures under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care for assigned patients.
- Assist other health care team members with their duties.
- Complete technical tasks once you have received unit competency validation.
- Please note that interns are restricted from performing licensed tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited RN program.
- Completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing course.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or the Red Cross.
