About the role#
Sabert Corporation is hiring a Corporate Operational Excellence Intern to work at our Sayreville, New Jersey facility. This is a full-time, hourly, on-site position. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that connect classroom learning to real manufacturing challenges.
What you'll do#
- Build and launch digital forms in Ignition software for Center Lining processes.
- Help develop a Root Cause Analysis Co-Pilot Agent for the manufacturing floor.
- Gather and analyze data from SharePoint, Ignition SCADA, MES systems, OEE monitoring, and SAP work orders.
- Assist with 879 Project initiatives and the implementation of MDI systems in Maintenance, Process, and Material Handling departments.
- Audit and sustain MDI systems and help with Tier 3 management system integration.
- Create reports, presentations, and recommendations to drive operational improvements.
- Work with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Relevant coursework in process improvement, analytics, operations, or information systems.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Interest in digital transformation, automation, AI tools, Lean Manufacturing, and operational excellence.
- Experience with data analysis or reporting tools is preferred.
