About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Denver, Colorado. You will work alongside subject matter experts to identify tax savings opportunities for large-scale clients. This role focuses on state, local, federal, and international taxation.
What you'll do#
- Help multi-state companies navigate tax controversies, including preparing for auditor discussions, representing clients at hearings, and drafting protests.
- Research and write technical memoranda regarding tax issues.
- Handle inquiries from clients and tax authorities.
- Review documentation and research specific tax questions.
- Process raw data to perform detailed calculations.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.
- Graduation date within one year of the internship.
- Minimum overall and major GPA of 2.8.
- Completion of 6 to 12 accounting hours.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- Compensation: The hourly hiring range for this position is $22.60 - $26.30.
