About the role#
The Entrepreneurial Services Group at RubinBrown LLP partners with business owners to improve and grow their enterprises. This internship provides exposure to a broad range of business, accounting, and tax issues while working directly with emerging entrepreneurial clients.
What you'll do#
- Apply general accounting procedures across various client engagements.
- Plan and execute day-to-day activities for small business clients.
- Assist with income tax planning and the preparation of tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
- Prepare payroll tax reports, filings, 1099s, and W-2 forms.
- Perform attest procedures, including financial statement reviews and compilations.
- Maintain client records and general ledgers using automated systems.
- Establish direct working relationships and communication with clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Actively working toward CPA certification.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to effectively utilize technology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
