About the role#
The Entrepreneurial Services Group partners with business owners to help improve and grow their operations. This department serves a variety of clients by utilizing a broad knowledge of business, accounting, and tax issues. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2028 term.
What you'll do#
- Apply general accounting procedures across a range of services.
- Plan and execute day-to-day activities for small business engagements.
- Review client documentation and format it for the preparation of financial statements.
- Assist with income tax planning for various small businesses.
- Prepare payroll tax reports and filings.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Progress toward CPA certification.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to utilize technology effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strict adherence to professional ethics.
