About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Seattle. You will work with a team to support clients with state and local tax needs. You will gain exposure to multiple engagements and work directly with various clients.
What you'll do#
- Integrate state and local tax services into existing client accounts.
- Complete tax planning and research tasks.
- Build your knowledge of accounting pronouncements and state and local tax regulations.
- Review tax processes to find inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with client IT personnel to gather data for reporting and audit procedures.
- Review data to identify potential refunds or credits.
- Help clients evaluate and implement sales and use tax software systems.
What you'll need#
- You are an Accounting major working toward a bachelor degree or equivalent.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You can work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple tasks.
- You have access to reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
