About the role#
This is a full-time Federal Tax Services internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will join a team focused on various tax specialty areas, including corporate taxation, individual taxation, mergers and acquisitions, pass-through entities, and not-for-profit organizations. This role is paid at a rate of $34 to $40 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members on tax specialty projects.
- Perform tax planning and research.
- Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Build your understanding of accounting pronouncements and tax regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred.
- You possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- You have clear written and verbal communication skills.
- You can work effectively on a team and manage multiple tasks.
- You must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to client locations is required.
