About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the mental health and trauma recovery program at RS EDEN. You will work with clients across various settings, including outpatient clinics, residential substance abuse treatment, and supportive housing. This is a paid position designed for students who need to complete internship or practicum hours for licensure as an MHP.
What you'll do#
- Manage a caseload of 10-12 direct client hours per week.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and create treatment plans for clients.
- Co-facilitate or independently facilitate recovery group therapy sessions.
- Complete and submit all documentation and client records in compliance with policies.
- Collaborate with the clinical team and interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Master's Degree program in a clinical mental health field (LPCC, LPC, LMFT, LICSW).
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in the human services field or related lived experience.
- Two years free of any problems associated with chemical dependency.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to pass a favorable background check.
