About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern at our Pasadena site, you will support the development, integration, and verification of robotic and motion-control systems. You will work alongside mentors and team members to apply engineering concepts to real-world challenges. This role involves active participation in customer programs and frequent check-ins to support your professional growth.
What you'll do#
- Support hands-on integration and testing activities.
- Set up test hardware and operate robotic systems.
- Execute test procedures and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collect and analyze data from test runs.
- Document results and help prepare verification materials and customer deliverables.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Robotic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects.
- Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.5 or above, 6+ months of applied engineering experience, and familiarity with robotics, motion control, electromechanical systems, or embedded systems.
- Experience with MATLAB, ROS 2, LabView, and Python is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Pasadena, California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.
- Pay: $28.00 per hour.
- This is a paid internship.
