About the role#
As a Security Analyst Intern, you will support the Security Team in protecting personnel, assets, and intellectual property. You will work within a team focused on physical security, program security, and enterprise risk management. This role provides an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to real-world security challenges while developing your technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Support the Security Team in developing security education.
- Conduct intelligence and risk assessments.
- Perform network infrastructure research.
- Handle physical security duties.
- Apply industry concepts to solve practical challenges.
- Lead development projects independently.
- Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to provide progress updates.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associates, bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or a similar field.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- At least 3 months of general work experience, including internships or project-based work.
- Ability to work full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in January, February, or March 2027.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Preferred: Military experience, active duty, reserves, or ROTC.
- Preferred: Experience in the aerospace or tech industry.

- Location: Long Beach, California.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Pay: $25.00 USD per hour.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- This is a paid internship.
