About the role#
As a Security Analyst Intern in Albuquerque, you will support the Security Team in protecting personnel, assets, and intellectual property. You will contribute to physical security, enterprise risk management, and program security while gaining hands-on experience in the aerospace industry.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of security education programs.
- Conduct intelligence and risk assessments.
- Perform network infrastructure research.
- Assist with physical security operations.
- Apply industry concepts to solve real-world challenges.
- Work closely with a mentor and other team members.
- Attend 1:1 meetings with supervisors to track progress and learning.
- Participate in tech talks and professional networking events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate, bachelor, master, or doctorate program in criminal justice, national security, emergency management, or a similar field.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- At least 3 months of general work experience, including internships or project-based work.
- Ability to lead development projects independently.
- Capacity to collaborate across teams and thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Preferred: Military experience, including active duty, reserves, or ROTC.
- Preferred: Previous experience in the aerospace or tech industry.
Location & details#
- Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Relocation: You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize costs.
- Eligibility: This role requires compliance with U.S. export control regulations (ITAR).
