    About the role#

    As a People & Culture Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in operational HR and insight into the employee life cycle at Rocket Lab. You will work within a department that coordinates with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, EIS, Security, Payroll, EH&S, IT, Facilities, and Legal to support daily business functions.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with your mentor and department staff to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
    • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with supervisors to track progress and discuss professional development.
    • Participate in tech talks and connect with other interns and employees through scheduled social and professional events.
    • Use your skills to help solve industry-specific challenges.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Business Administration, Human Resources, Management, or a related field.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship concludes.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • At least 3 months of corporate experience in Human Resources.
    • A preference for candidates with a 3.5 GPA or higher and 6 months of HR experience.
    • Strong time management skills and attention to detail are preferred.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel, is preferred.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Long Beach, California.
    • The program runs for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks, starting in May or June 2027.
    • This position is paid.
