As a Mission Operation Intern, you will work within a department to apply engineering concepts to real-world challenges. This role involves collaborating with mentors and cross-functional teams to support spacecraft performance and mission success. You will participate in regular 1:1 meetings for feedback and development, while engaging in tech talks and networking events with other interns and employees.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical knowledge to solve engineering challenges in a professional setting.
- Collaborate with mentors and team members to support mission operations.
- Provide regular progress updates through scheduled 1:1 meetings.
- Participate in company-sponsored professional and social events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Aerospace, Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- At least one semester of school remaining following the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, including internships, laboratory work, or project-based team experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Linux, and Git.
Location & details#
- Location: Littleton, Colorado.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Duration: Minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in August or September 2026.
- Compensation: Paid position at $25.00 per hour.
