As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support the design, development, and integration of spacecraft hardware and flight harnessing across our Space Systems programs. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, taking ownership of projects from early design phases through to final spacecraft integration.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to concept creation, hardware build, and test campaigns.
- Deliver fully qualified components for integration.
- Apply engineering and industry concepts to solve real-world challenges.
- Engage in frequent 1:1 sessions with mentors and supervisors to facilitate technical and professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate degree program in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering (or a related physics or math discipline).
- At least one semester of school remaining following the internship.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, including internships, laboratory work, or personal/team projects.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter, for modeling mechanical components.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams to deliver results.

- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: Full-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $28.00 USD hourly.
