About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Middle River, Maryland, you will support the team responsible for building stages for the Neutron rocket. This role involves working alongside mentors and other employees to apply engineering concepts to real-world challenges. You will participate in regular check-ins with your supervisor to provide progress updates and receive feedback.

What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for engineering, physics, or mathematics.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, including internships, laboratory work, or personal projects.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
Preference will be given to candidates with a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 6+ months of applied engineering experience. Additional experience in fabrication, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, robotics, industrial processes, or composite materials is also preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Middle River, Maryland.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Commitment: Full-time, on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting in January, February, or March 2027.
- Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
- Status: This is a paid internship. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
