    About the role#

    As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Long Beach, you will join our team to develop and qualify processes for rocket engine production. You will work alongside design, production, and quality teams to support our hardware manufacturing efforts.

    What you'll do#

    • Collaborate with a mentor and other team members to apply your technical knowledge and develop new skills.
    • Use engineering concepts to solve real-world challenges.
    • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to review progress and receive feedback.
    • Participate in tech talks and professional networking events.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • Minimum of 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or personal projects.
    • Preferred qualifications include a 3.5 GPA or higher and 6 months of applied engineering experience.
    • Experience with Solid Modelling, CAD/CAM, Finite Elements Analysis (FEA), GD&T, and 3D printing is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Siemens NX, Jira, Solidworks, ANSYS, and powered equipment like CNC, mills, or lathes is helpful.

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Term: Winter 2027.
    • Modality: Full-time, on-site.
    • Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
    • This is a paid internship. Please note that we do not provide visa sponsorship.
