    About the role#

    As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in Middle River, Maryland, you will support the team responsible for manufacturing the stages for Neutron. You will work with a group of professionals to apply engineering concepts to real challenges. This role involves leading development projects and collaborating across teams to deliver results. You will attend regular meetings with mentors and supervisors to discuss your progress.

    What you'll do#

    • Apply technical knowledge to grow your skills.
    • Support the manufacturing team with Neutron stage production.
    • Lead specific development projects.
    • Collaborate across departments to meet goals.
    • Provide regular progress updates to your supervisor.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for engineering, physics, or mathematics.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
    • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as laboratory or project work.
    • Ability to work full-time on-site for 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.

    Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.5 or higher and 6 months of applied engineering experience. Experience in fabrication, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, robotics, industrial processes, or composite materials is also helpful.

    • Compensation: $25.00 per hour.
    • Status: This is a full-time, paid internship.
