    About the role#

    As a Flight Software Intern in Littleton, Colorado, you will support the MAX Flight Software team. You will work on designing and testing software while improving your ability to test against emulated hardware. This is a full-time position for Summer 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Design and test flight software.
    • Enhance testing capabilities against emulated hardware.
    • Work with a mentor and other team members to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
    • Attend regular 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to review progress.
    • Participate in tech talks and connect with other interns and employees through professional and social events.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience, such as internships, laboratory work, or personal and team projects.
    • Preference for candidates with a 3.5 GPA or higher and 6 months of applied engineering experience.
    • Familiarity with C, C++, Python, Rust, and Git is preferred.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Littleton, Colorado.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Duration: Minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning May or June 2027.
    • Compensation: $27.00 per hour.
    • Eligibility: This role requires compliance with U.S. export regulations, including ITAR.
