About the role#
This internship provides a hands on look at the daily operations and management of a Food and Beverage department within a resort and country club setting. You will work across various restaurant concepts to understand how departments interact and how service standards function in this environment. Managers and supervisors act as mentors throughout the program to guide your development.
What you'll do#
- Participate in an orientation to the property and set professional goals.
- Learn front of house positions, including the use of POS and reservation systems.
- Perform opening and closing functions for different venues.
- Gain experience in bar service, craft cocktail philosophy, and leading staff lineups.
- Manage the BEO process, team service, and multi-venue execution.
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, revenue forecasting, and hiring processes.
- Build your wine knowledge and service skills.
- Review P&L statements and develop guest service techniques.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Greensboro, Georgia.
- The role is on-site.
