About the role#
As a Vehicle Systems Engineer Intern, you will oversee the lifecycle of the Terran R vehicle. This includes everything from initial design and development to integrated testing and launch. You will work alongside teams such as structures, mechanisms, fluids, propulsion, avionics, and integrated analysis.
What you'll do#
- Complete design trade studies.
- Perform cross-cutting analysis.
- Drive requirements and verification planning to closure.
- Create automation scripts.
- Develop concept of operations.
- Plan tests, review data, and manage vehicle configuration.
What you'll need#
- Ability to see the big picture while drilling down into technical details.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and define project scope.
- Hands-on experience through personal projects, club activities, or previous internships.
- Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
