About the role#
As a Vehicle Integration and Test Engineer Intern, you will support the build and testing of rocket subassemblies. You will work alongside engineers and technicians to turn designs into flight-ready hardware. This role focuses on building the systems that build the rocket, requiring a mix of technical planning and hands-on execution.
What you'll do#
- Support build sequencing, test planning, and technical documentation.
- Help develop manufacturing bills of materials, work orders, and build flows to improve product integration.
- Partner with team members to resolve integration challenges and ensure hardware quality.
- Assist in setting up processes and tools for ERP, MES, and QMS systems to support production scaling.
- Work directly with hardware in the facility.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program for aerospace, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- Hands-on experience from labs, projects, internships, or extracurricular hardware teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and production teams.
- Strong initiative and a self-motivated approach to solving problems.
- Comfort working in an environment where priorities change.
- Preferred: Experience with aerospace subsystems like structures, high-pressure fluids, or avionics.
- Preferred: Familiarity with test procedures, instrumentation setup, or troubleshooting.
- Preferred: Background in process improvement for manufacturing or test environments.

- Compensation: 34 to 42 dollars per hour.
